We took this screen capture the evening we brought Chloe home, thinking that they would pull the listing the next day. As you can see her SPCA name was Artemis; a name with which she never responded.

We arrived home from the SFSPCA very late. All the pet stores were closed.  All we could do to make Chloe comfortable was to throw some sheets and blankets on the hard and cold kitchen floor.  Needless to say, we were ill prepared for our first dog.

We tried to have Chloe "Table", but she insisted on this pose instead.  It turned out to be a better image.  Thanks, Chloe, for your modeling instincts. 

Lisa Maze states it perfectly.  [This] picture captures the essence of being a dog...free to run, off leash in wide open spaces with you nose to the wind.

We used to just run through the park now, with Chloe in our lives, we are better able to see the natural beauty around us.

It takes blood, sweat, and tears to become a champion. We haven't won anything an may never; for Chloe and me, we'll settle for the quiet moments to simply be happy together with Margaret.
